Kings Valley restores the wilderness of the Waterberg. Through our Truth Foundation, that same spirit of restoration reaches the people of the land.
The work of conservation and the work of community are, to us, inseparable. A thriving land and a thriving people belong together.
Alongside the restoration of the reserve, we established the Truth Foundation — our charitable heart, dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through sustainable, community-led upliftment across the Limpopo Province. Just as we restore degraded land season by season, the Foundation restores hope and opportunity, one person, one family, one village at a time.
The Truth Foundation is a South African registered Non-Profit Company and a SARS-approved Public Benefit Organisation. It is committed to community upliftment through sustainable solutions — developing a blueprint that can be repeated in communities wherever the need is greatest.
Rather than relying on hand-outs, the Foundation works alongside communities to identify their own priorities, then delivers accredited training, creates real employment, and supports sustainable food, water and energy — equipping people to stand on their own.
As a Section 18A approved organisation, the Foundation can issue tax-deductible certificates for all bona fide donations.
Community. Anti-poverty initiatives, skills development and employment, alongside sustainable food, water, energy and mentorship — equipping communities to thrive.
Personal. Space for spiritual, mental and physical recovery through mentorship and enrichment programmes — often set within the restorative surroundings of Kings Valley itself.
Sustainable. Funded through its own network rather than depending solely on giving, so the work can endure for generations.
